Privacy policy

Who we are
This website, async.sk, is operated by Async, s.r.o., registered in Slovakia (the "company", "we"). Contact details are listed on the legal notice page. We are the controller of any personal data processed through this website.
What this website collects
Nothing beyond what is technically necessary. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no third-party trackers. Fonts and all other assets are served from our own domain.
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, requested URL, time, browser identification) for security and operational purposes. Such logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to identify visitors.
When you contact us
If you write to us by e-mail, we process the data you provide (your name, e-mail address and the content of your message) to answer you and, where relevant, to prepare and perform a contract. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR for pre-contractual and contractual steps, and Article 6(1)(f) for our legitimate interest in handling enquiries.
Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and afterwards for as long as statutory retention obligations require.
Applications we publish
Async also publishes software, including applications distributed through the App Store. Unless the privacy notice of a specific application states otherwise, our applications do not collect, store or transmit personal data, do not use analytics and do not contain advertising. Where an application needs to process data to work, this is done on your device.
If a specific application processes personal data differently, its own privacy notice, linked from the application and from its store listing, takes precedence over this section.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format. You can exercise these rights by writing to the e-mail address on the legal notice page.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Slovakia this is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or software changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
